Temporarily removed from her home, teenager Olivia would like nothing more than to return to her mother Selma. At the Girla crisis centre, she meets other young people who, like her, are carrying their wounds around with them. Gradually, this new living situation changes her perspective. Every time she goes home, she realises that her mother is not an average mother, but a moody, destructive influencer – a friend you would rather not have. Olivia is faced with an impossible decision: let herself be devoured or finally break free.
