Numerous filmmakers are once again coming to the 21st Münster Film Festival to present their latest works. The Münster Film Festival explicitly sees itself as a festival for new talent – but what has actually become of the new talent that has been a guest in Münster over the years and festivals?
On Friday 19 September, the 21st Münster Film Festival kicks off with the German premiere of the Dutch film “Alpha.”. Around 70 films can be seen at the Schloßtheater Münster until 28 September. The diversity of European cinema in both long and short form can be discovered in three competitions and other sections.
This year, the Westfalen Connection competition at the Münster Film Festival is showing 18 films from the region or by people who come from Westphalia. These include numerous festival premieres and films by and with well-known names.
