Two industry days for film will be held in Westphalia on 26 and 27 September.
Friday, 26 September, will be dedicated to pitching. In the first session, up-and-coming filmmakers from the region will present their current material to an expert jury, while the second session will present treatment material that is being further developed as part of the Filmwerkstatt Münster screenplay class.
On Saturday the 27th, together with Kinofest Lünen, Filmbüro NW, and Netzwerk Filmkultur NRW, there will be a panel for up-and-coming filmmakers in the region entitled: Filmnachwuchs im Finanzierungsdilemma – Wege aus der precarären Förderung (Young filmmakers in the financing dilemma – ways out of precarious funding ), followed by a masterclass with Mehmet Akif Büyükatalay and Claus Herzog-Reichel from filmfaust GmbH, whose current film Hysteria will be screened on Friday evening.
In addition, Alina Cyranek will be presenting her feature film debut Fassaden in a Dok Special and the first insights into a VR exhibition on Ulrich Schamoni’s classic film Alle Jahre wieder will be given.
